Bonding curve & Graduation
How a new token trades before Graduation, and what changes when it goes LIVE.
Every new STRYK token starts on a bonding curve. That gives the token a market from the moment it launches — no order book and no creator-supplied liquidity needed.
How the curve works
The curve sets the price automatically.
- Buys move the price up.
- Sells move the price down.
- The same trade at the same point on the curve gets the same price.
Early buyers usually enter at a lower price, while later buys move further up the curve. That also means new launches can move quickly in either direction.
Graduation
Every curve has a Graduation target. The project page shows how close the token is to reaching it.
Once the target is reached:
- liquidity is created from the curve proceeds,
- the token leaves the bonding curve,
- its status changes to LIVE,
- trading continues through its live liquidity pool.
You can keep buying and selling inside STRYK after Graduation.
The market changes from the bonding curve to the live pool. The token page and trading flow stay in STRYK.
Fun Drops at launch
Creators can optionally set aside part of the token supply for Fun Drops. The exact allocation is shown before launch.
See Fun Drops for eligibility, timing and claiming.
Reading bonding progress
Before Graduation, the Bonding Progress bar shows how close the project is to its target.
Once the project is LIVE, the bonding phase is complete and live-market metrics such as price and volume become more important.
